Delivering on Our Promise

Most of us buy life insurance for one reason—to help protect those we care about when we are no longer there. However, when buying coverage, we likely don’t consider the claims process our families will have to go through at the time of our death.

When someone passes away, it creates a great deal of stress for those who are left behind. It is an emotional time that can seem overwhelming. Given the stress, it is important to have a claims experience that is quick, efficient, and handled with the utmost compassion and respect.

In an independent life insurance beneficiary survey conducted by LIMRA, a life insurance research organization, AAA Life received the highest overall satisfaction score for claims practices in 2015, among eight major life insurers.

Additionally, we stood out with the quickest median time to pay claims and the highest net promoter score, which is the likelihood a customer will recommend AAA Life based on his or her experience.

Filing a Claim

A claim may be submitted over the phone or in writing. To submit a claim over the phone, please call Member Services at 1-800-684-4222.

To submit a claim in writing, please send a notice of the claim to AAA Life Insurance Company, 17900 N. Laurel Park Drive, Livonia, MI 48152-3985, or fax it to 1-888-223-1509, or email claimssvc@aaalife.com. The claim may be reviewed based on the initial information provided or we may ask you for proof of loss materials in order to evaluate the claim. Upon receipt of the necessary documentation, the claim will be reviewed and valid claims will be paid.
